Information

Omtas was founded in 1968. It is located at Gebze, 45km from the Anatolian side of Istanbul, on the D100 highway. The total area occupied by the plant is 38.000 m2 including a 15.000 m2 covered area with a forging shop, heat treatment shop, finishing lines and a tooling shop. Forged steel parts in various lengths and shapes weighing from 0,5 to 200 kg can be produced by Omtas in accordance with international standards, legal terms and customer requirements. Omtas’s quality system has been certified by Bureau Veritas ISO/TS 16949:2009, ISO 14001:2004, Germanischer Lloyd and Ford Q1. Omtas produces forgings for light and heavy commercial vehicles, personal cars, industrial engines, agriculture machines, tractors and other industrial requirements.
