MAFA MAschinen und FAhrzeuge GmbH is based in Thuringia, the "green" heart of Germany. Between the provincial capital of Erfurt and Weimar, the European cultural capital of the year 1999, concentrated in Vippachedelhausen the entire production and business activities. Before 1990, the company was responsible for repairing the technology of the farms in the region. In 1993, MAFA was bought by four employees from the Treuhandanstalt Erfurt as part of a management-by-out process. The phase of fundamental reorientation and cooperation has been successfully completed. Today we are an established medium-sized company with 45 employees, including 4 apprentices. We regard the education and training of our employees as a provision for the future on our own behalf and support them within our capabilities.
