A history of electromagnetism Kendrion started out in 1859 under the name Schuttersveld, a familiar name in the field of textile production for over a century, based in Enschede, the Netherlands. In 1984, new activities blew new life into the company and started Kendrion off in a promising new direction. In the following years, Kendrion integrated the Companies: Thoma, Neue Hahn and Magnet AG (1999), Linnig Group (2007), Tri-Tech (2008), Magneta GmbH & Co. KG (2010), FAS Controls Inc. (2011) and Kuhnke AG (2013).
