The company Fahrzeugbau Kempf was founded on 15 April 1950 in Langenbach. Walter Kempf, a trained blacksmith, bought old prewar cars and built tractor units for agriculture. With his skill and great inventiveness, he had a lot of success and the demand for his vehicles was very large.
