The Günter Köhler Institute for Joining Technology and Materials Testing (ifw Jena) is a legally independent and economically independent non-university industrial research institution. We are a founding member of the Zuse community and carry out application-oriented research and development for manufacturing solutions in the context of publicly funded projects and on behalf of the middle-class economy.
