Founding of VOTRONIC Richard Schmelz Elektronik 1987 in Grebenhain. The object of the company is the development and production of electronic devices for motorhomes, caravans and boats. The first product line consists of tank level indicators, battery monitoring devices and automatic battery chargers. VOTRONIC is rapidly expanding and expanding its product range. Early deployment of microprocessors extends device functionality, increases reliability, and facilitates manufacturing. In 1993 , the products were also extended to professional use in rescue vehicles (emergency vehicles). Special customer requests are considered and implemented, the range of customer-specific devices is becoming increasingly important. Strong demand from VOTRONIC products means that production and warehouse capacities need to be expanded.
