In the late 1950s, with the experience and technology acquired in Italy Mr. Sergio Domenico Bertoletti, brought to Brazil the idea of ??the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as an alternative fuel for Otto cycle engines. On October 10, 1969 was founded the RODAGAS AUTOMOTIVE EQUIPMENT A GLP LTDA., Being the first factory in Latin America of equipment for this purpose. At the beginning of the 70's, with its own technology, it began semi-serially the production of kits for the use of BIOGAS (gas derived from garbage and sewage) in the city of São Paulo, anticipating the arrival of the Rio-São gas pipeline Paulo de Gas Natural, becoming at the end of the 80's his main industrial activity alongside his activities of origin; equipment for use of LPG for forklifts. Always following the development of new technologies, in 1996 it was a pioneer in receiving the CAC / LCVM L216 assuring to its clients a product of quality and with the concern of the preservation of the environment. In November 2001, it changed its name to RODAGAS DO BRASIL SISTEMAS A GAS LTDA., And the new headquarters of 4,000 m2 was inaugurated, incorporating in one unit the areas of manufacturing, distribution, development of new products and laboratory. In this new unit we can increase our production capacity to 8,000 kits / month. We also received in 2003 the NBR ISO 9001 Certificate. Our scope is: "design, manufacture and sale of equipment for use in gas systems, such as: automotive vehicles, industrial vehicles, industrial systems, among others." Our mission is to constantly invest in research and development of kits suitable for each type of vehicle, following the evolution of the global automotive market and offering our customers products that meet their needs, contributing to the success of all. We have ISO certification of processes and products, internal laboratory of metrology and inspection, internal engineering, traceability and certification of materials used, technical support and all other resources necessary to maintain the quality and safety of our products.
