Since 1956 Metalúrgica Onix Ldta. has been investing to help develop several industrial segments in Brazil by providing forged and machined parts with the highest quality standards. As a result of a continuously modernized production facility, Metalúrgica Onix has showed its capacity to meet the ever changing needs of the marketplace. Located on a site over 5.000 m², Metalúrgica Onix has been supplying forged and machined parts for more than 55 years to national and international clients like CATERPILLAR, CNH, CASE, NEW HOLLAND, AGRITECH, ZF DO BRASIL, DANA, CANAPARTS, LINNIG and TSUBAKI. The engineering department consists of a workforce of eight employees that has a distinct number of technological devices at its disposal, like forging simulation softwares, 3D mechanical CAD (Computer Aided Design) softwares and CNC (Computer Numeric Control) machine tools with high speed cutting technology. These instruments allow the manufacture of precise forging tools, making the quality of our products recognized by all our customers. The quality department has 15 employees working daily to ensure our products have all specifications established and to guarantee the satisfaction of our clients. Therefore, Metalúrgica Onix adapted its management quality system and it was certified by ISO 90001 in 2002 and ISO/TS 16949 in 2004.
