Information

The origin of the name of the municipality is due to Senator Christian Mathias Schroeder, native of the city of Hamburg, located in the north of Germany. Schroeder is also informally known by the name of Schroeder Strasse, mainly among the older population that still speaks German. Most of the inhabitants of this municipality are descendants of Germans from northern Germany. The presence of other ethnic groups, notably the Italian, are also part of the historical construction of the municipality.
