"The company Eder has its origin in agricultural engineering. The roots go back to the year 1487, when Tuntenhausen was first mentioned as a forge in the chronicle. The traditional smithy developed into a repair shop for agricultural machinery at record speed and grew into an innovative company with national significance. Since 1967, when it has expanded the sale of automobiles, more than 50 individual companies in various business fields are currently part of the group of companies. Today, the two brothers Josef and Peter Eder manage the business of Eder Family Holding GmbH & Co. KG, whose shares are held exclusively by the family.
