It all began in the 1970s when a persevering man named Nelson Erbs took the initiative to set up his own automotive battery repair shop and a small shop so he could distribute those batteries in the local market. It was several years of work, a lot of effort and effort, always striving and trying to grow that small business. Some years later, the children joined their father in order to further strengthen the enterprise. Together, they decided to purchase a small handmade battery plate factory, which made it possible to manufacture the first Erbs batteries, a name dedicated to the family patriarch, Nelson Erbs. The company has grown and business has multiplied. In 1987, realizing the difficulty of acquiring raw material for battery production, they decided to set up a recycling station for used batteries. After a few years of work, the need for a bigger manufacturing space, made the company totally change to the city of Botuverá - SC, where it remains until today. That small automotive battery repair shop became a solid product manufacturing company, making the name "ERBS" a well-known brand in the domestic market.
